The Problem
Experience Milwaukee started as a podcast celebrating the people, places, and culture that make Milwaukee unique. As the show grew, so did its ambitions. The conversations expanded beyond local culture into business, technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the people helping shape the city’s future.
That meant creating a podcast that didn’t just sound professional—it needed to look professional, too. Every episode had to feel authentic while giving guests and viewers an experience that reflected the quality of the conversations being shared.

The Solution
Ski Team partnered with Experience Milwaukee to produce the podcast at Independent Studios, handling everything from recording and video production to editing, content strategy, and distribution.
For this episode, Ski Team founder Lynne Fraser joined host Steve Glynn for a conversation about storytelling, entrepreneurship, and how meaningful media can strengthen connections across Milwaukee’s business community.
Like every good conversation, the goal was to make it feel down-to-earth and authentic. To feel effortless, our team needed to create a production environment where guests could relax, be themselves, and let the conversation unfold naturally.
The Unusual
One of our favorite things about podcast production is that the recording session is really just the beginning.
A single conversation can become a full podcast episode, YouTube content, social media clips, promotional trailers, short-form videos, and dozens of pieces of content that continue working long after everyone leaves the studio.
We love helping organizations discover that one great conversation can go a whole lot further than they ever expected. Whether you’re launching a branded podcast, creating thought leadership content, or building a new media channel, we’re always thinking about how to make every recording work harder—and reach more people.
